The RxNorm October monthly release became available for download on Monday, October 3, 2022, and there are no major data changes to report.

UPCOMING RXNORM DATA CHANGES

Delay in Adding New RxNorm Terminology Term Types

RxNorm previously announced that three new RxNorm Terminology Term Types (TTYs) will be added (see below). However, new TTYs will be delayed until further notice.

  • New RxNorm TTYs to be added in the future:
  • Semantic Clinical Drug Form Precise (SCDFP)
  • Semantic Clinical Dose Form Group Precise (SCDGP)
  • Semantic Branded Drug Form Precise (SBDFP)
