NLM is pleased to announce three new files available for download:

  • A new Convergent Medical Terminology (CMT) Release file from Kaiser Permanente. The Common Lab Procedures list subset includes the most common lab procedure concepts in use at Kaiser Permanente that are mapped to both Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC). There are 347 concepts in this file. SNOMED CT concepts are based on the January 2014 International Release.
  • An updated ICD-9-CM Diagnostic Codes to SNOMED CT mapping file is now available for download. The map is based on ICD-9-CM 2013 and the September 2014 US Edition of SNOMED CT.
  • An updated ICD-9-CM Procedure Codes to SNOMED CT map is also available. The map is based on ICD-9-CM 2013 and the September 2014 US Edition of SNOMED CT.

All three release files are available for download from the UMLS Terminology Services (UTS) by UMLS licensees.
