Learning Resources Database Redesign

Learning Resources Database Redesign. NLM Tech Bull. 2018 May-Jun;(422):b1.

May 02, 2018 [posted]

On April 18, 2018, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) released a new design and improved functionality for the Learning Resources Database. This database makes it easy to find educational resources for NLM products and services by allowing users to search multiple areas of the library through one search interface. This site focuses on recorded tutorials, videos, and Websites. Information about upcoming live classes and Webinars is now linked in the navigation bar.

The new design is meant to improve user experience and is based on user feedback. The backend database and search functions have also been rewritten, which should result in greater stability.

An Application Programming Interface (API) is also available to auto-populate NLM learning resources on your own Web site. Documentation on how to use the API is available through the Help menu. Sample code and examples of pages currently utilizing the API are available under the API for Developers section in the Help.

Please contact NLM Customer Support with any questions.
