The RxNorm March 2024 monthly release became available on Monday, March 4, 2024.

In response to drug shortages in the United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is allowing the import of drugs to meet demand. While the National Library of Medicine (NLM) does not consider products manufactured and sold exclusively in other countries to be in-scope for RxNorm, we will include drugs imported due to a drug shortage if we are provided with information by our source providers that can be verified through the FDA.
