NLM is pleased to announce a new Convergent Medical Terminology (CMT) Release file from Kaiser Permanente (KP). This new release contains two problem list subsets used in KP electronic medical records to describe Specimen Sources and Specimen Types. There are 556 concepts in the Specimen Source file and 621 concepts in the Specimen Type file. SNOMED CT concepts are based on the January 31, 2014 International Release.
The file is available for download from the UMLS Terminology Services (UTS) by UMLS licensees.
