UMLS Webcasts

[link removed] Registration is now underway for the first two UMLS Webcasts of 2009. The dates and topics are:

  • January 29, 2009, 2:00 pm EST: "RxNorm Update, MyMedicationList, and DailyMed" presented by Dr. Stuart Nelson
  • February 26, 2009, 2:00 pm EST: "UMLS Source Release Documentation" presented by Ms. Rachel Kleinsorge

UMLS Annual Report & SNOMED CT® Affiliate Report

UMLS licensees are required to complete an annual report detailing their use of UMLS resources. The Web form for submitting the UMLS Annual Report for 2008 is available at: //wwwcf.nlm.nih.gov/umlslicense/umlsforms/annual_report_1.cfm. An e-mail with a link to the Web report form was sent to UMLS licensees on January 21, 2009. The e-mail included individual UMLS licensee codes, which are needed to complete the Web form. Users who fail to submit their report by March 1, 2009, will have their license agreement cancelled and their access to the UMLS Knowledge Source Server deactivated.

The SNOMED CT Affiliate Report for July-December 2008 is due by February 2, 2009. There are questions on the SNOMED CT Affiliate Reporting Web page to help users determine if they are required to submit a report.
