Folio 6a from an anonymous treatise on fevers titled Kitāb Ghayhāt al-umniyāt fī ma‘rifat al-ḥummayāt (The Most That Could be Desired Concerning the Knowledge of Fevers). The cream, semi-glossy paper is think, with visible laid lines, single chain lines, and watermarks. The folio features a chart drawn in red and black inks with the text written in a medium-small naskh script, with some vocalization, in brown-black ink with headings in red. The text area has been frame-ruled.

Folio 1b from Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Salāwī's Khālitah fī sinā’at al-tibb. The glossy creamy-beige paper has vertical laid lines and single chain lines and is watermarked. There is considerable damage to the paper from damp; it is also worm-eaten.  The text is written in a small to medium-small, careful North African (Maghribi) script. It is written in black ink with headings in red. In the right margin is a short anonymous treatise on toothache written in a later hand in red ink.

There is considerable damage to the paper from damp; it is also worm-eaten.  The text is written using black ink in a small to medium-small, careful North African (Maghribi) script. At the bottom of folio are miscellaneous notes written in black ink.

Folio 1a of al-Sha‘rānī's Kitāb Mukhtaṣar al-Tadhkirah. This the opening folio with the title given in red on the first line. The text is written in a medium-large, somewhat awkward, Maghribi script in black ink with headings in red and green. There are red and green overlinings and occasional green-dot text stops. The thin, ivory paper has horizontal thin laid lines and vertical single chain lines and has worm holes. The edges have been trimmed from their original size.
