Committee Management Office
The NLM Committee Management Office works with NLM’s advisory bodies in coordinating committee management activities, ensuring compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act and other governing laws and policies. NLM advisory committees include the Board of Regents (Council), Board of Scientific Counselors, Literature Selection Technical Advisory Committee, Biomedical Informatics, Library and Data Sciences Review Committee, and Special Emphasis Panels. Among these activities are committee member nomination and appointments, ethics clearance, committee chartering, report preparation, Council meeting coordination, and federal advisory committee record maintenance.
